ADDICTED TO S$X? Danish People Were The First To Legalize Pornography; Here's Why

Maybe this is why they’re so damn happy? The Danes are a little more relaxed when it comes to s$xually explicit images than some other countries. In 1969, Denmark became the world’s first country to legalize pornography.

The first country in the world to legitimize pornography was Denmark in 1967. That year, the country legalized pornographic literature. Subsequently, in 1969, it became the first nation in the world to legalize pictorial and audiovisual pornography.

The public TV channel Kanal København broadcast hardcore pornography free and uncoded at night, in the early 2000s.

This lack of legislation has allegedly made Denmark a center for the production of animal pornog

raphy. This accusation, however, was dismissed as a myth by Det Dyreetiske Råd, a legal council, which in November 2006 published an extensive report on the topic of animal s$x.

Since 1980, child pornography has been illegal in Denmark. It is illegal to distribute photographic or video pornography of persons under the age of 18, although the age of consent in Denmark is 15. It is, however, no

t illegal to possess images or videos of people above 15 if such persons have given consent.

You can purchase it in just about every neighborhood convenience store or gas station, and there’s a TV station that freely broadcasts hardcore material with no barriers to access it.

They do have some basic guidelines, however. Pornographic magazines must be displayed out of eyesight of children, and may not be sold to those under 15 years of age.

The Pornhub Model Program lets individuals upload their own videos, and in turn, they earn advertising revenue according to how often their links are viewed. And it turns out they owe quite a debt to the Danes, as interest in home-grown pornography is flourishing in Denmark during the lockdow

The amount of revenue generated by the site from Danish viewers grew by 53 percent between February and March, making the birthplace of legal hardcore pornography the world leaders.

Industry insiders are unsure whether the general increase can be attributed to more time at home, or an increase in customer-less s$x workers contributing videos to the site.
