AKA says “Reebok mustn’t fall” despite not being part of the brand again

AKA’s maturity is quite evident in dealing with his former family, Reebok.

After announcing not being paid for his sneakers (SneAKA) partnership with the brand, he also said his contract with them expired in December 2019 and he’s stopped the production of his sneakers with the brand.

“My deal expired in December last year. I haven’t been with them since,” he said”

At the end of last year they told me they wouldn’t be renewing my contract because “the brand” wasn’t about the Reebok “classic” direction anymore … they were now geared towards selling gym clothes to women predominantly.

I was then told I would be offered free clothing every month but i would no longer be paid my monthly retainer. Oh well … lesson learnt.

However, that’s not AKA’s desire, as he shunned the hashtag.
