Social media celebrity, Efia Odo, has been dragged into the gutter by tweeps regarding a tweet in which the defiant diva called Ghana a village and its citizens villagers.
Efia Odo went amiss in a recent tweet as she called the majority of Ghanaians villagers as she recognized that only a few are refined.
”Ghana is a Village trying to be a city but still living with its village behaviors. It’s only a few that have been able to partake in the city like characteristics, when necessary”, she wrote.
It could be recalled that Shatta Wale once called Ghana a village while on stage at a show in London and was heckled by the crowd.
Meanwhile, Efia Odo and Shatta Wale, her bestie, certainly agree on a lot of things as she reiterated the Dancehall King’s comments.
Tweeps, on what is now called Ghana Twitter, descended on Efia Odo as they the beautiful socialite.
A tweep who goes by the username Osama Bin London ridiculed Efia and called her a village celebrity as deductive from her comments about Ghana being a village.
Whether Efia Odo’s comments were maligning or fans also took it out of context, the former’s tweet has caused a stir on social media for sure.
