Ghost Museum is the first Malaysia ghost-themed museum based in Penang. The museum introduces ghosts such as Orang Minyak, Pontianak, Toyol, Pocong, Hantu Pisang, Headless Ghost etc. to the visitors besides featuring the horror and myths of all evils.
The scene inside the museum could be disturbing, scary, and contain strobe lights and fogs effect to create a creepy surrounding!
The museum is located at 57, Lebuh Melayu in Georgetown, Penang. It is an interactive museum which features different types of ghosts across a wide array of cultures and backgrounds. There are the cute, funny looking ones and you are going to have nightmares about these ones.
Visitors can take pictures with the ‘exhibits’ which also include detailed explanations of the various ghosts and the legends associated with them.
It’s well worth noting that there are also special admission discounts for children (<_7 years="years" old="old" students="students" and="and" senior="senior" citizens="citizens" with="with" valid="valid" identification.="identification." its="its" an="an" interesting="interesting" experience="experience" unique="unique" in="in" every="every" sense="sense" of="of" the="the" word.br="word.br">
In Chinese custom, a lady who committed suicide while dressed entirely in red would be back to take revenge on those who had failed her. Not sure if it is applicable to men though.
In the 80s and early 90s, horror movies imported from H0ngk0ng fall generally under the Chinese vampires genre known as 殭屍.
Even though the Chinese vampires in those films were generally evil with the objective to suck your bloody, there were instances of cute young ones who were not as bloodthirsty.
