Ghanaian artist Francisca Gawugah Duncan Williams, known by her stage name as Sister Afia has declared she isn’t releasing any more rap songs after she dropped her impressive ‘She Got Nerves’ song she dedicated to Eno Barony.
Speaking to MzGee on TV3, Sister Afia said this recent beef got her into rap and it is overshadowing her Highlife songwriting abilities. according to her she is going to continue specializing in Highlife but will merely drop some rap song to have fun and perhaps show them how versatile she can be.
‘No no no I’m not doing it again. I just had fun with it…..I want people to love me for my music, I don’t want them to change. I like the style of music that I do. I was just having fun,’ she said
Sister Afia had to switch to the rap genre so she could beef with the Ghanaian rap queen, Eno Barony. She also engaged in a beef with Freda Rhymz and it nearly ended in a physical fight between the two when they met at TV3 premises.
