Akoko South-East may be a government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is found at Isua (Akoko). They split Isua into two major types called Isua Oke and Isua Ile, but the king lives in Isua Oke.
The renowned Isua International Hotel is found in Isua oke. The community is that the headquarters of the Akoko Southeast regime Area of Ondo State. In Isua Akoko, any homemaker that commits adultery will lose all her children, husband, and children or she dies. This is often the grim judgment that surrounds s$x out-of-wedlock in Isua Akoko.
Chief Ayedun Ajakaye, a frontrunner within the community, said any woman that’s married to an Isua man and dares has s$xual relationship with any man outside her marriage can pay dearly for it. The blood of the goat(s) is going to be wont to redeem the souls of her family.
However, this tradition has contributed in no small measure to the dedication of ladies to their husbands and their husbands too to them. “Without being economical with reality, Isua may be a place where peace, love, unity, and tranquility reign supreme.” These young girls dance around the town for the amount the festival lasted.
Ayedun said the festival is an avenue for the young men within the town to seek wives. He said on the seventh day, which can be the grand finale, the women and therefore the boys will dance and sing to correct social ills among themselves.
If someone steals or fights together with his or her patients, the culprit is mentioned and be exposed in song. “they complete this to prevent others from doing so and also to discourage others in behaving in like manner. This has helped in correcting plenty of immoral acts among the youth within the area.
