Mzbel has reacted to the ex-president and the NDC’s presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama’s decision to use the Papa No term while on a campaign.
The term ”Papa No” which has now become slang for sugar daddies originated from the social media banter between Mzbel and Tracey Boakye.
The celebrities in their fight over their common benefactor used the term and left the public wondering who this man is.
The scuffle bred controversy leading to names like Mahama, Julius Debrah, and Sir Sam Jonah popping up with Kennedy Agyapong and Tracey’s estranged bestie Gloria Kani, insisting that Mahama is ”Papa No.”
It was only a matter of time before the ex-president made a joke about the issue as he is known for his knack for the game of politics.
While addressing the chiefs and people of Asukawkaw on his campaign tour, Mahama expressed the need for the people to not only vote him into power but the Parliamentary candidate in the region as well.
”I ask that while you vote for me, you vote for the Parliamentary candidate as well. We do not want a ”skirt and blouse” situation. Please do this, so that together we can bring development to your community. If you vote for Papa No, vote for Oba No(son) as well”, Mahama said.
Mzbel posted the video on her Instagram page captioning it with an”lol”.
This has been met with both ridicule and laughter as some claim he has admitted to being the benefactor.
Others on the other hand, believe that he is only making the most of the controversy to propagate his message as in their opinion there is no such thing as bad press.
