Popular Ghanaian counselor, Counsellor Edem Adofoli has taken his time to give a piece of advice to the youth most especially suiters.
according to the counselor, having some deep feelings for someone does mean its marriage and being pregnant for someone doesn’t mean you need to get into marriage,
hence marriage is a long journey that does not have a U-Turn until death falls apart.
taking to his Facebook account, Conselor Adofoli adviced;
“For the fact that you feel something deep for someone doesn’t mean marriages happen accidentally. It doesn’t mean you go into a relationship aimless, praying he takes you to the alter one day.
The fact that someone impregnates you doesn’t mean you have to marry them at all costs. For the fact that someone breaks your virginity doesn’t mean you have to marry them no matter what”.
he added;
“Marriage is intentional, it is deliberate, it is purposeful, it is a covenant and not contract. It’s for better for worse, it’s for riches or poorest, it’s for in sickness or in health”.
Counsellor Adofoli went on;
“It is till death do us apart; and not till hurt, pain or murder do us apart. Note the difference. Each time you agree to marry someone, remember there is no U-turn. This is why you don’t have to rush it. This is why you don’t have to chase it. This is why you don’t have to force it.
If you don’t know why you are getting into a relationship, please don’t. If you don’t know why you should marry, please don’t do it”
