Lagos is no longer Nigeria’s capital but it remains the country’s nightlife capital as well as one of Africa’s largest and fastest-growing cities.
In fact, many workers in Nigeria’s capital of Abuja make regular weekend treks to enjoy the social spirit lacking in their own city.
As a visitor to Lagos, you can experience some of this spirit by enjoying live music, dancing until dawn or paying tribute to a local legend at one of the city’s many hot spots.
The Lagos nightlife scene is truly one for the ages as the coastal town has a distinct charm and it’s easy to immerse yourself in the relaxed pace.
But look further and you’ll discover there’s more to it, with lots of venues hosting wild parties for all crowds. Posh beach clubs, lively dive bars and intense dance clubs entertain locals and tourists well into the night.
Enjoy delicious grub, refreshing cocktails, watch sports and boogie to your heart’s content when roaming the cobbled streets. Many popular bars, clubs and discos are within easy walking distance of each other and you’ll easily find the scene for you. Chill out, join a raging party or mingle with the friendly locals of Lagos at their favorite hangouts.
Indeed, the Lagos nightlife is an attraction of its own as the city comes alive after dark, wearing a new look.
