Ghanaian actress and film producer, Yvonne Nelson has thrown shots at affluents who seek to motivate people by sharing their success story. according to her, they shouldn’t polish it to make it sound easy.
Taking to Twitter on this matter, the former Miss Ghana contestant said many of these motivators don’t tell the full story, which she referred to as the ‘backstory’ as well as the craziness that comes along with it. thus, it sounds simple and prevents the youth from putting much effort.
Yvonne Nelson first came to the scene in 2001, with big-screen roles in Princess ‘Tyra and Playboy’. She delved into movie production in 2011 with her first production ‘The Price’, which was released that year. She also produced ‘Single and Married ‘in 2012 and ‘House of Gold’ in 2013. according to her, she struggled in getting to where she is now and that goes in contrary to what most motivators say nowadays.
She tweeted, “If you wanna inspire with your SUCCESS STORY, say it all, the BACKSTORY, the craziness…don’t make it look easy when it wasn’t, don’t sugar coat it! Stop lying to people.its not MAGIC.”
