India is a country having believes in spiritual solutions. There is a spiritual solution to almost every of the problems.
There are many doshas that are existing there in Hindu religion.
Manglik Dosha is one those that are impacting the human life and causing a few problems in their lifetime events such as delay in manglik matrimony or marriage of manglik brides or grooms.
Indian men and women born as Mangliks — meaning Mars is situated in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house of a person’s Rashi (Indian astrological moon sign) — are believed to be cursed. It is believed that Mangalik Dosha negatively impacts married life, causing tension and sometimes the untimely death of one of the partners.
To cancel these effects, a Kumbh Vivah can be performed before the wedding. This is a wedding between a Mangalik and either a statue of Vishnu or a Peepal tree or banana tree. The celebrated Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai had one such marriage with a tree before marrying her husband, Abhishek.
Kumbh Vivah for the manglik brides or grooms is just as the normal marriage with all the ritual and ceremonies that are performed normally with the pot such as wedding mantras in the marriage, pheras, Kanya daan and many other rituals.
After that the manglik girl is supposed to change her dress, removing all threads. After that without letting anyone know, the girl will put the pot in the river. After performing this spiritual solution, the girl is released out of Mangal Dosha and may marry the guy of her choice.
Kumbh Vivah is combined from the two words Kumbh which means pot and Vivah which means wedding or marriage. So its combined meaning is the wedding with the pot.
