Arsenal have been heavily linked with a third offer for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar
today.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have made a signing of
a young winger: Nathan Tormey.
Arsenal made the announcement on
Wednesday that Tormey “has signed his first
professional contract with the club.”
“He’s one of our own”
The Gunners announced: “A boyhood
Arsenal fan, he joined our Hale End academy
at under-12 level. We all look forward to
Nathan’s continued progress with the club
this season.”
Tormey describes himself as a “Nike athlete”
on Twitter which suggests the sportswear
brand have plenty of faith that the 17-year-
old is a player to keep an eye on.
Arsenal describe Tormey as “a technically
gifted and pacey winger”.
