Before notorious kidnapper Evans was caught, an article had been published in a newspaper with the photo of another man
being presented as the kidnapper.
The man identified as Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike coincidentally has the same
surname as the criminal and is also from Nnewi, just like Chukwumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, hence the mistaken identity.
Since the arrest of Chukwumeme
Onwuamadike, Tochukwu Ambrose Onwuamadike, who is from Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi but resides in Angola, has
reportedly been jubilating at having his reputation cleared.
