Brazil international and Juventus full-back
Dani Alves has joined the French club, Paris
Saint-Germain, on a free transfer.
Alves signed a two-year deal after opting
against joining up with his former
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola at
Manchester City.
City were prepared to give the 34-year-old a
two-year contract, but could not match the
£230,000 a week it is understood he will
receive in France.
Alves was a free agent after Juventus
released him from his contract early
following one season in Italy, in which he
helped them to the Serie A and Coppa Italia
double.
PSG announced his arrival with a video of
the player printing his name and number on
a shirt.
