Manchester City have been handed a two-year transfer on academy players under the age of 18 following a breach of youth development rules.
Reports suggest that it is in relation to two separate Academy players whilst they were each registered with another club.
City are prohibited from signing players between 10-years-old and 18-years-old on the books of a PL club or EFL club in the past 18 months.
How much of an effect it will have on Manchester City’s first team is yet to be seen but it would certainly stunt the growth of their youth teams.

Liverpool were given a similar sanction a couple of months back in relation to a youngster on the books of Stoke.
Man City and Arsenal offer big money for defender
Both Manchester City and Arsenal have offered big money contracts to Bundesliga defender Sead Kolasinac.
The Bosnian is out of contract in the summer and would require no transfer fee.
That has lead to both Premier League giants offering him giant contracts.
Kolasinac is one of the best full-backs in the German top flight.
