A 12-year-old tipped to win Child Genius has revealed his amazing plans to help others in the future. Inspirational Rahul, who has an IQ higher than Albert Einstein, spoke about his “amazing” experience on the Channel 4 series which sees young masterminds pitted against each other.
He was joined by parents Minesh and Komul, who admitted there was a lot of pressure on their son but that behind the scenes everyone was actually really friendly.
Young Rahul proved he was wise beyond his years when he revealed what future career he would like to have.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, he said: “I want to do something with maths because I really love maths, maybe be a financial advisor or something like that. “I like to also help others as well because I want to use my talents wisely. It’s not good to be selfish so you should help others as well.”
Rahul, who is competing in the Channel 4 show to find the brainiest youngster in the UK, revealed the secrets behind his success.
He said: “The key is to block out everything else and keep clam, focus on your goal. Mine was to answer every question correctly and I did well in the early stages.”
Dad Manish, who used to play table tennis for Barnet council, admitted the contest was very competitive and there was a lot of pressure.
He said: “I don’t think we were. It just happened so fast, we didn’t realise there’d be so much pressure and publicity but he’s done us really proud.”
