Motorists and other road users have been advised to explore alternatives routes so as
to avoid been caught up in the traffic gridlock along Costain road in Lagos.
Road users plying the popular costain road have been reportedly stranded on the road for several hours.
According to witnesses still trapped in the traffic gridlock, vehicular movement has
been halted with no one knowing exactly the cause of the traffic.
A witness who spoke to claims he has been held up in the traffic jam
for well over three hours. “I can’t remember the last time I was in such a massive traffic
jam. I have been stranded her for well over three hours,” he said.
No major cause has been gathered to be responsible for the traffic jam, but motorists
and other road users have been advised to explore alternatives routes so as to avoid
been caught up in the bottleneck.
