REVEALED: The most successful away team in Premier League history – They’ve won at 52 different stadiums

LIVERPOOL moved to within touching distance of confirming Champions League qualification for 2017-18 as they thumped West Ham on Sunday.

The Reds battered the Hammers at the London Stadium thanks to a brilliant performance from Philippe Coutinho.

Goals from Daniel Sturridge, two from the ‘Little Magician’ and one from Divock Origicatapulted Jurgen Klopp‘s Reds back into third in the Premier League.

But it was not just the result that made headlines, as Liverpool’s win at West Ham’s new stadium means the Merseyside giants have no won at 52 different Premier League grounds.

The drubbing meant the London Stadium became Liverpool’s 52nd stadium to be victorious at in the Premier League eraIncluding Anfield, the Reds have now mustered victories at more than 50 stadiums around the country, thanks to a number of clubs moving to new grounds in the past 25 years.

Only two other clubs in Premier League history have reached the 50-mark – Arsenal and Manchester United.

The two top flight giants have managed wins at 50 different grounds exactly.

Chelsea come in next with victories at 48 different arenas around the country.

Meanwhile, Championship side Aston Villa are level on wins at 46 separate stadiums with Manchester City and Tottenham.

Liverpool incredibly have only failed to win at THREE Premier League grounds in the division’s 25-year history.

One belongs to ex-bogey team Blackpool – Bloomfield Road – with the others being Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane and Nottingham Forest’s City Ground – all now down in the Football League.
