Several people sustained injuries following a
clash between youths in Ojobo community,
Delta State, in the early hours of Friday,
August 4, 2017.
According to reports, problem started few
months ago over election and community
leadership. After the election ended and the
winner declared, some angry commuters
who were not comfortable with the
electioneering process began to make
trouble but it ended as soon as it started.
Several months after the clash, when
commuters thought all had been settled,
reports reveals that the aggrieved party
stormed the community with arms to make
trouble but met stiff resistance from the
community youths which resorted to
clashes with both parties sustaining
degrees of injuries.
Meanwhile, security agencies rushed to the
fight scene and arrested the situation
bringing calm and sanity.
