This is the stunning holiday resort where Lionel Messi is spending his honeymoon with Antonella Roccuzzo. Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi married his long-term partner last month and the pair have jetted off to the Caribbean island of Antigua to celebrate.
Messi and Antonella have been joined by their children, Thiago and Mateo, as they soak up the sun in a luxury £3,500-a-night pad. But the children are not the only guests on the honeymoon – as Messi has linked up with his team-mate Luis Suarez.
Suarez and his family popped in to see the newlywed couple and the two Barcelona superstars shared a game of head tennis in the pool.
Both Messi and Suarez will be expected back for Barcelona pre-season training on Friday.
Messi is set to have his new deal announced that will keep him at the Nou Camp until he is 34 years old.
The new contract is reportedly going to be worth £54million across a year – meaning he would earn £220million, before endorsements and bonuses, until the end of the deal.
