You’ve had to bear the heartaches of broken promises over and over again in the past. And so this time, you try to make yourself immune to such vulnerability. But somehow, this guy keeps on coming through. He actually keeps his promises to you.
4. You’re willing to play the game but he’s not playing around
You’ve been around the block before. Perhaps you’ve even played the game better than other people have in the past. You know how the game works and you know that there are risks involved when playing it. But he isn’t playing around. You’re not just a game to him.
5. He makes you realize how bad you had it in the past by being the complete opposite
He makes you so miserable about your past experiences because he makes you realize just how much you’ve been missing out. You were always forced to bear toxic relationships in the past but this time, everything seems so easy and so you are left to wonder why it couldn’t be like this before.
6. He tells you he is sorry even when you don’t expect an apology
You aren’t used to having men apologize to you. All the douchebags you used to date in the past always thought they were exempted from giving apologies. But this guy is different. He tells you he’s sorry even when you don’t expect it. He actually owns up to his faults and he does it on his own accord.
7. He is patient with you because he knows that you like to stay guarded
He doesn’t force you to do anything that you’re not comfortable. He won’t compel you to bare your soul to him when you don’t want to. He’s not going to make you do anything that you don’t want to do. He practices maximum patience with you and this is unfamiliar territory for you. You’re always accustomed to guys just trying to manipulate you into doing what they please.
8. You have a fight but he doesn’t let you go to sleep without fixing it
In previous relationships, you used to deal with fights and disagreements by sweeping them under the rug in the hopes that they go away. However, this time around, it’s not always going to be that easy. He’s going to want to find a resolution with any conflict that the two of you may have. He doesn’t want any bad blood to linger.
