Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the wife to Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, has recovered from the deadly coronavirus after she tested positive to the disease about two weeks ago.
The wife of the Canadian Prime Minister tested positive for the virus on March 12 after returning from Britain, while her husband went into self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
“I am feeling so much better and have received the all clear from my physician and Ottawa Public Health,” she wrote on her Facebook page Saturday night.
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes.”
Meanwhile, Spain’s health ministry has announced 838 new coronavirus deaths, marking the country’s highest daily jump in fatalities and bringing its total to 6,528.
On Saturday, the country had reported 832 new deaths while the total number of those infected rose to 78,797 from 72,248 on the same day.
