It’s no easy feat. Visiting every country in the world takes resources, patience, stringent planning and even luck at times. According to the UN masters list, only 270 people in history have managed to make it to every sovereign nation in the world, and the club has a new member.
Canadian born Michael Graziano has just visited the last country on the list, at the age of 30, making him the youngest Canadian on record according to Nomad Mania. The number of countries in the world has long been open to debate, depending on which territories are recognised, and that number varies from 193 to 205 countries, depending on which count one takes.

After such an incredible journey around the world, I caught up with Graziano to find out more about his adventure around the world.
Highlights of his best experiences included swimming with bull sharks in Fiji, warrior training with Masai tribes in Kenya and Formula 3 racing in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Graziano describes some of the worst experiences on his journey being witnessing an elephant circus in Indonesia which he describes as “terrible” to five-day overland bus rides in Africa and getting dengue fever after visiting “mosquito island” in Fiji. The Canadian jokes that he should have seen that coming.
