Earlier today we reported that a Ghanaian Nurse by name Mary Agyeiwaa has died of the coronavirus in UK.
Mary was pregnant and was on maternity leave when she contracted the virus and died last Sunday.
Her baby was successfully delivered through surgery and the NHS say the child is doing very well.
One amazing thing was that a fundraising campaign was set up on Wednesday to support her child and as of Thursday, the campaign had raised over £100,000.
“Mary was a blessing to everyone she came across and her love, care and sincerity will be irreplaceable,” organiser Rhoda Asiedu wrote on the page.
“May God reward and bless everyone who finds it in their heart to assist. This will go a long way in making life more bearable after experiencing this in unexpected tragedy.
“You will forever be in our hearts Mary. Your memories are still with us and we will cherish them forever until we meet again. We will forever miss you.”
