ALEX IWOBI has wowed Arsenal fans since breaking into the team in the last year – and now he has replicated it on the international stage with an outrageous piece of skill for Nigeria.
In Nigeria’s victory against Algeria today in a World Cup qualifier, he executed a perfect rainbow flick before coming away with the ball.
Victor Moses scored Nigeria’s opener before John Obi Mikel netted a rare second – but the highlight of the match belonged to the Arsenal starlet, who opted for Nigeria over England, who came calling for his services.
Despite being born in Lagos, he has lived in England most of his life and has been with the Gunners since the age of six, and has emerged as a first-team regular for Arsene Wenger’s men this term.
But despite being under contract until 2020, recent speculation has suggested that the Spanish champions are keeping tabs on the versatile forward.

However he has no intention of leaving the north London club, according to his father Chuka, who recently declared he is happy at the Emirates.
Iwobi has already made 11 appearances in the new campaign and is keeping the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the bench.
Nigeria are of of the table with one win from one match played, in a group containing Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia.
